Transparency initiative
Recently, Alexander Møller Rønfeldt joined our team, bringing valuable firsthand experience from his role at Polaris, where he was responsible for building a Compliance CRM system with DORA as a central component. This experience has given us deeper insight into the practical challenges financial institutions face when implementing DORA compliance – from ROI reporting to procedures, exit plans, and comprehensive vendor oversight.
Having someone who has sat on the customer side of these requirements has been invaluable. We now better understand not just what information ICT providers need to supply, but also what you as our customers need to manage these relationships effectively in practice.
🎥 Watch Alexander share his insights here.
Our Current Progress
We're actively working on several fronts to ensure FundFrame can support your DORA compliance needs:
Infrastructure and Hosting
- We offer European server hosting as an alternative to US-based infrastructure
- We maintain comprehensive documentation of our sub providers and their compliance status
- Our contracts are being updated to align with DORA requirements
Transparency Initiative
To support your due diligence processes, we've created a publicly available Provider Gallery on our website. This overview shows our key technology partners, their compliance status, regional presence, and uptime statistics. We use smart automations to update this data daily by fetching uptime information directly from our providers, and simultaneously collecting data on their security measures. Additionally, we're working on implementing automatic incident detection to display any incidents as soon as they're reported by our providers. We believe transparency is crucial in building the trust and clear agreements that DORA emphasizes.
What This Means Going Forward
DORA isn't just about ticking compliance boxes - it's about fostering better collaboration between ICT providers and financial institutions. We recognize this requires:
- More detailed documentation and reporting
- Clearer communication about our operational processes
- Enhanced incident reporting and business continuity planning
- Regular updates as both regulations and our capabilities evolve
Our Commitment
We're committed to this journey, but we're also realistic about the ongoing nature of compliance work. As DORA implementation continues to evolve and regulatory guidance develops, we'll:
- Provide regular updates on our compliance status
- Work closely with customers to understand your specific requirements
- Maintain open dialogue about any challenges or changes
- Continue improving our processes and documentation
Moving Forward Together
If you’re reviewing your DORA compliance requirements and need clarity on how FundFrame supports your framework, we’re ready to provide guidance and answers. We understand that every institution's needs are different, and we're committed to providing the information and support you need.
We'll continue updating this overview as we make progress and as regulatory guidance becomes clearer. In the meantime, our Provider Gallery offers the most current view of our vendor ecosystem and compliance status.
